Google Business Profile · Deira
Deira addresses break more profiles than anywhere else in Dubai — shared shopfronts, buildings known by name instead of number, and listings a supplier created years ago. AED 149, preview before you pay.
A profile that would sail through in Business Bay gets stuck in Deira, and it is almost always the address rather than the business. Naif, Al Ras, Murshid Bazaar, Baniyas Square and much of Al Rigga are built around buildings people know by name, not number. The licence says one thing, the sign above the door says another, and Google Maps already has a pin somewhere on the same street that somebody else created.
None of that means a Deira business cannot rank. It means the setup has to be done in a particular order, and the order is not the one Google's own wizard walks you through.
Every building in Dubai has a ten-digit Makani number on a blue plate near the entrance, and it resolves to the exact entrance rather than the block. For a Deira shop with no unit number and no visible building number, that plate is the most reliable address evidence you have. Photograph it before you start.
If the plate is missing or painted over, the next best anchor is the building name exactly as it is written on the facade, plus the nearest landmark. Write it the same way on the licence, the profile, the invoices and the WhatsApp Business account. Consistency is doing more work here than accuracy is.
This is the step most Deira businesses skip, and it costs them weeks. Old listings get created by a delivery aggregator, a supplier, a previous tenant, or a customer who added the place from their phone. Creating a second listing on top of one of those produces a duplicate, and Google resolves duplicates by suppressing one — often the new one.
Search the business name, then search the address, then search the phone number. If anything comes back, the correct move is to claim and correct it, not to add a new place. A claimed listing carries whatever history and reviews it already has, and that history is worth more than a clean start.
A counter inside somebody else's shop, a desk in a shared office, or a sub-unit with no separate door is the single most common rejection in Deira. Google is deciding whether this is a distinct business at a distinct location, and a sub-unit with no signage of its own gives the reviewer nothing to decide with.
Where the arrangement is real, the fix is real signage — your name visible at the point where a customer would actually walk in — plus a licence and paperwork in the same name. Where there is no physical customer access at all, the honest setup is a service-area business with the address hidden, and we will tell you that rather than filming a shopfront that is not yours.
Deira licences frequently carry an Arabic legal name and an English trading name that are not translations of one another. The profile should carry the name on the sign, because that is the name a customer searches and a reviewer matches. But the paperwork you show during verification must be traceable to it.
Where the two genuinely differ, keeping one consistent English name everywhere — profile, invoices, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, any website — does more for the listing than arguing about which one is correct.
A Deira shop is not chasing website clicks. The numbers that matter in the profile dashboard are direction requests and calls, and those move on three things: photos that show the actual shopfront so people recognise it from the street, hours that are right including the afternoon break and Friday, and reviews asked for at the counter while the customer is still holding the bag.
Post weekly. An abandoned profile loses to an active one with fewer reviews, and in a street where thirty shops sell similar goods, the active one is the one that gets the call.
AED 149, one time. We check for existing listings and claim rather than duplicate where one exists, build the profile with the right primary category, services, description, hours and photos, prepare the address evidence, and stay with you through verification including the escalation to a live video call if the recorded video keeps failing.
We do not promise that Google will verify a listing. That decision is Google's, the rejection reasons are not always shown, and anyone guaranteeing it is selling something they do not control. What we commit to is the work, the 48-hour build, and not disappearing after the first rejection.
The Makani number from the blue plate at the entrance, plus the building name as it is written on the facade. That combination resolves to the door rather than the block, and it is the strongest address evidence a Deira shop has.
No. A second listing at the same address becomes a duplicate and Google usually suppresses one of them. Claim the existing listing and correct it — it keeps whatever reviews and history are already attached.
Sometimes, if you have your own signage where a customer walks in and paperwork in the same name. If you do not, the honest setup is a service-area profile with the address hidden. We will tell you which one applies before you pay, not after.
